Inversions is a series of ceramic sculptures that reflects musing over a gradual reversal of arrangement existing between machine and human. The machine, being so far a device supporting the human organism, becomes an element that is necessary for functioning of the organism. From the formal point of view, the objects of this series illustrate specific metamorphoses between geometric structure of a virtual project and real forms, structure of which is determined and deformed both by the used ceramic material and the processes connected with it. The notion of inversion used for the series of works denotes inversion of the organic into the mechanic, the inanimate into the animate, and the real into the illusory and vice versa. Closely connected with the group of these sculptures is a performative act Inversion 28092008.

Inwersje to cykl rzeźb ceramicznych, odnoszący się do refleksji nad stopniowym odwracaniem panującego układu pomiędzy maszyną a człowiekiem, w którym maszyna będąca do tej pory urządzeniem wspomagającym ludzki organizm staje się elementem niezbędnym dla jego funkcjonowania. Od strony formalnej obiekty tego cyklu obrazują specyficzne metamorfozy pomiedzy geometryczną strukturą wirtualnego projektu a rzeczywistymi formami, których strukturę determinuje i deformuje wykorzystane tworzywo ceramiczne oraz związane z nim procesy. Pojecie Inwersji dla cyklu stworzonych prac to odwrócenie tego co organiczne w mechaniczne, nieożywione w ożywione, rzeczywiste w iluzoryczne i vice versa. Z grupą tych rzeźb ściśle zwiazane jest działanie performatywne Inwersja 28092008.
