SinEGG is a series of ceramic objects that reflects stages of transformation initiated by variable frequencies of vibration. The base shape of the object refers to the form of an egg – a symbol existing in many myths. One of them vividly illustrates an egg levitating over the tangle of snakes. It is the power of their hiss that carries the egg in the air. And though I refer to sound as the driving force, the real source of the vibration patterns left on the surface is not a real sound but pure computer code subordinated to mathematical functions and algorithms. The pattern of the surface distortion depends on several variables interactively entered into the code.

SinEGG to seria obiektów będących zapisem różnych stadiów transformacji umownie inicjowanych zmienną częstotliwością drgań. Wyjściowy kształt obiektu nawiązuje do formy jaja jako uniwersalnego symbolu obecnego w wielu mitach. Jeden z nich plastycznie obrazuje jajo jako obiekt o mistycznych właściwościach unoszący się nad kłębowiskiem węży, utrzymywane w powietrzu siłą ich syku. I choć odnoszę się do dźwięku jako siły sprawczej to faktycznym źródłem symulującym sinusoidalne drgania jest kod komputerowy oparty na funkcjach matematycznych przyjmujących szereg zmiennych od których zależy sposób w jaki zaburzana jest powierzchnia obiektu.
